The Daily Cbronicle states that an official White Paper will shortly be issued giving authenticated particulars of the German treatment of British prisoners. The cases relate principally to the employment of the men in military work immediately behind the lines, many being killed by Ahell-fire. Number's have been starved to death and others haVa reached Germany in a dying concision, With their 1 bddies Wasted by overwork, disease, and insufficient food. .
They are described, as walking skeletons. Cases are known where twelve stone men dwindled to six stone in a few months* Prisoners were somotimefi employed in removing' the debris of ammunition dumps which 1 had been partially exploded by our airmen, and numerous deaths were caused by exploding shells. It remains to be seen whether the Home Secretary (Sir G. Cave) will obtain a remedy for these savase abominations.
