CAMP NOTES
The cup presented by the Camp Commandant, Featherston, for the best-kept huts and lines has been awarded to th<? 48th N.Z.F.A. for the week ending Saturday, sth October, with the 50th Specialists second.
The Camp Commandant/ Trenthain, acknowledges with thanks receipt of the following gifts,' which have been distributed in the .'camp hospitals: —From the Salvation Army, Wellington: Cake, fruit, sweets, handkerchiefs. From the Soldiers' Comforts Guild, Wellington : Four cs-ses fruit. Prom 1 Mr. Beavis, Maidstone Park, Upper Hutt: Tobacco for Izard's Convaleiicent Home; also a, sack of literature from the -Auckland! Women's Provincial League. \ The Camp Commandant, Featherston, acknowledges with thanks the following gifts from Wairarapa HospitaJ. Committee, to Featherston Camp Hospital: — One case oranges, one case pine apples, I one case tinned fruit, one case sundries, I weekly gift of eakers; from Mrs. Mill, Featherston, soap, stationery, and cake.
