KHANDALLAH CLUB
The twenty-first annual general meeting of members of the Khandallah Bowling Club was held in the pavilion on Thursday evening, Mr. H. M. Ifalder (president) pre^ siding over a large attendance. The report and balance-sheet were adopted unanimously. The president reported on both the play and the improvements to greens and property carried out during the year. After thanking directors and members for thenassistance, he moved a Hearty vote of thanks to the Press for its assistance in giving space for all bowling news. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. S. Wright; secretary, Mr. E. Irving Rodger; treasurer, Mr. A. H. Bath; delegate to centre, Mr. H. M. Nalder;- directors, Messrs. J. Bringans, Colin Monro, H. E. Nicholls, G. A. Swanger, and F. Bennett.Cups and trophies won during the last season were presented, and musical honours were accorded to the retiring president. A motion of sympathy with earthquake sufferers was passed, the levy of one shilling for each player towards the bowlers' relief fund receiving hearty support. ______________
