Another example of the Fijian's marvellous power of endurance is revealed* Tanieli, a member of the crew of tha schooner i uicakau, who disappeared ia a hurricane off Wakaya, arrived on Saturday at Kairai on a raft, unable to speak. For nine days he had been without food and water. There are hopes of #is recovery.
