Lamason and Bull I figured conspicuously so far as the innings i went. Petone made only s a moderate | showing against Hutt, at Petone. M. ] Nicholls was responsible for nearly half ] of the home team's score. Wellington, 1 with Airey and Jennings in scoring mood, a made quite a good start against Kilbirnie, 1 -who -were doing well in reply when stumps i were drawn for the day.
