r .... DUNEDIN, 22nd December, Cricket matches were continued in excellent weather yesterday, most of the
teams being weakened by the absence of members with the Otago team and on holiday. Duuedin, playing Albion, made 179 (Ditchfield 65, Kenny 40, Brown 32). Allen took two wickets for 26. Albion lost three for 22. Claridge took two wickets for 7 runs.
Cansbrook made 134 (Blunt 46) against Old Boys. Logan and, Leader each took three wickets for 32 runs. Old Boys lost two wickets for 23 (Giles 20). Aitken took two wickets for. 2 runs.
Grange were dismissed by Christian Brothers for 89. Brookes took five wickets for 18 runs, and Blair three for 10. Christian Brothers lost four wickets for 64 (M'llroy 29). Lewin took two wickets for 10 runs.
