EXTENSION TO DELHI
LONDON, 21st December. The first air mail on the new air route extension to Delhi from Karachi has left Croydon. This will represent a further saving of twenty-four hours to Central and. Southern India. The mail is due about 30th December The ioQADSir t0 Calcutta oPens early in 1930. The Calcutta-Rangoon-Singapore route is now beiug surveyed with a Tse^n t0 .f lannin S a through route of 13,000 miles to Australia.
