SUBURBS CLUB

The Suburbs Defeuce Rifle Club visited Trentham on Saturday for rifle practice at 500 and 600 yards, ten shots at each range. The weather was fine with a light wind from left to right, which made the shooting interesting. The best range score at 300 yards was,that of T. Goodall, 48, the next best 47 by Hunt and Fellingham At 600 yards R. Pringlo and T. Goodall made 44. F. F. Bishop, a new member of the club, with his handicap reached 100. This, match completes the second series of the championship, with the following results:—A. Sherbrooke 379, T. Goodall 377, W. G. Fellingham 376, S. J. White 375, H. R. Hunt 370. Next Saturday the club hold rifle practice at 800 and 900 yards, ten shots at each range.
