FOOTBALL ON TvOWHAT PARK. At a meeting of the eommitto of the Beautifying Society held last night, the following motion was carried: That in tho opinion of the Beautifying Society, it is not desirable that football should he permitted In ho played on ICowhai Park. THE ANNUAL A 1 FETING. Jt was decided to hold the annual mooting of the Society on the 28th. inst., where the question of raising funds to carry on the Society work will be the principal business.
