Priest (piano), Mr. W. Evans (cornet) and Mr, !'.. Hear (violin). Mr. J. O'Reilh followi d v, ith a comic recitation, wlin h was received with screams of laughter. Bai i» fuilov ] with a recitation which was well received, whilst Mi. S. Holme,' S oiig w;js splendidly rendered and much uppn eialed. Mrs. O'llallnhan favored her .•editors with 'Sweet, spirit, hear m\ ; raver," her rich clear voice being hoaid with niiirvellous effect. Mr. Case,'-, locitation entitled The Motor Ca.." was given in his usual ma«l< rl\ sty!,-. Mr. CI. \V. Sampson (('hief-Postmas-ter), in ,i happy lull,, speech, appropriately referred to the reason for tho gathering, with which till •■•. re thoroughly delighted. lie then pn n-nted the prizes won at the euchre tournament as follows Kirs! pri/.i , .Mr. Ooburn and Mis, Kitzgerald : consolation prizes, Misses O'Reilly and Samp son. After d.,iii!\ refresh ineiits. kindly provided by the ladies eoniinittee, had boon partaken ..f, the hall was cleared and dancing commenced and kept going till an early hour this im nine to sparkling music excellent 1\ rendered by Miss |>rie-i (piano), Mr W. Evans (cornet) ami Mr K Kear (violin). Apologies for non-attendance wore ' received from the district post masters .and from the pos'tmaster at Jlokilika. The gathering proved thoroughly ' successful and enjoyable in everv ' respect and many there are who viil look back with pleasureable recollections ' to the inaugural reunion.
