MEAT, TALLOW, TIN, ETC,

At the wool sales there was spirited competition for good sorts. All the prices tended in sellers’ favor. Up to date 202,171 bales have been catalogued, and 185,039 sold.
Mutton : Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury, 4;] d; Dunedin, North Island lamb, River Plate mutton and' beef are unchanged. Tallow: Stocks, 20,285 casks; imports last month, 3798; Deliveries, 6538. Tin: Stocks, 17,131 tons; spot, 5118; afloat, 2298; deliveries during the month, 2063, Copper ; Supplies for the month, 17,828 tons ; deliveries, 17,784 ; stocks, 28,904 ; advised from Australia, 2475. Linseed oil: Is 8d per gallon.
