There is a daDgcr of Wairoa getting overcome with pride. The local journal states that “a cadet has been appointed to the "Wairoa post office to facilitate the business. As the district advances so does the post and telegraph office. It is the measure of the district’s progress, as the pulse is to a patient’s health.”
