BLACK LABOR DIES HARD.
EMPLOYEES AYANT A ROYAL COMMISSION.
Received March 5,12.31 a.m. Brisbane, March 4. Tho Chamber of Commerce discussed Mr Barton’s attitude to colored labor, and adopted a resolution, by a majority of five, asking the Federal Premier to appoint a Royal Commission to inquire into the sugar and other tropical industries, before any legislation is introduced dealing with colored labor.
