The latest ‘ made in Germany ’ article to be damped down in freetrade Sydney is none other than the succulent tuber. Last week a load of German potatoes, shipped f. o. b. at Hamburg for something under 10s, brought between £8 and £9 per ton in the city of the Baautiful Harbour.—Hobart Clipper.
