MAJORITY OF -WITNESSES ANTI '
[By Telegraph—-Press Association.] Auckland, last night. The Federation Commission left for Sydney by the Mararoa to-day. One hundred and eighty-five -witness have been examined in New Zealand, of whom a considerable majority are against Federation. Of the number 112 were against Federation, 50 for, and the remainder indefinite. Auckland provided 60 witnesses, the largest number of any of the New Zealand cities,
