(By Telegraph—Press Association.] Christchurch, last night. William Gillespie, coffee merchant, was found dead in bed at Sumner this morning. He was a very old resident of Canterbury. Mr G. J. Smith, a former member, is definitely out for the Christchurch seat. Mr Robert Wallace, a farmer at Halswell, was thrown from a dray last evening, and sustained serious injury to the spine,
