Rome, July 1. The Italian battleship Andriadoria is aground at Gallipoli.
[Gallipoli is an important seaport town of Italy. It is situated on a rocky islet on the east shore of the Gulf of Taranto, and is connected by a long stone bridge of twelve arches with the suburb of Lizzaon the mainland. The harbor has been improved by a mole, hut is dangerous. |
