Tho following have been appointed Justices of the Peace : Robert Lindsay Banks, of Fairlie, Mackenzie ; John Martin Crouch, of Richmond, Nelson; William Davidson, of Granity Creek, Builor; William Forsdick, of Mercury Bay, Coromandel ; Peter George Grant, of Norsewood, Hawke's Bay; John Green, of Granity Creek, Buffer ; Godfrey Lyndon, of Moawhanga, Hawke’s Bay ; Edward Matthews, of Koiterangi, Westland; Archibald McArthur, of Koiterangi, Westland ; Robert McNab, of Gore ; James Milne, of Wyndham, Southland ; Charles Edward Molosworth, of Richmond, Nelson ; William Small, of Wakapuaka, Wairnea ; John Smart, of Clyde, Vincent ; George Hepburn Stewart, of Crookston, Tuapeka ; and Henry Ernest Tiffen, of Mangatu, Cook County.
