The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,080,000 quarters, for the Continent 1,470,000 quarters. Three Australian cargoes sold at 295.
Tallow: At the sales 1225 casks were offered, and 800 sold. Prices were unchanged.

Messrs Nelson Bros, have received the following cable from the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, London :—A further fall in values of mutton and lamb. Quotations : Best Canterbury mutton, 3Jd; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 2„d; lamb, first quality 5,1 d, second 4:]d.
