LIQUIDATION.

REMUNERATION ALLOWED.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. In the matter of a motion for remuneration of Mr Cook as liquidator of the (Guthrie and allied companies, Judge Williams to-day gave his decision, saying : —“ I think it reasonable that 2.V percent should be allowed on what was realised, and on the turnover. That 21 per cent, however, should certainly include all travelling expenses and personal expenses of the liquidators employed in the business of these companies. I think Mr Hoskings’ estimate of what was paid is not an unreasonable one. I put it at £2300. Two and a half per cent ou the turnover amounts to £3331, making £5631, which I chink the liquidator ought to receive.”
