Price of Meat.
BUTCHERS RAISE THE PRICE BY A penny; By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, Aug. 16. The butchers havo raised the price of meat one penny per pound. Roast beef is now selling at Od to 7d. Chops and steak are as high as lOd. A contributing factor to tho rise in prices is tho falling away in grazing in favor of dairying.
