By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright
London, Aug. 26. The official report of the recent trial of the cruisers Minerva and Hyacinth, for boiler tests, says that the _ Hyacinth’s leaky yoints ' caused very serious loss of water. The Minerva's tubes choked. The extreme coal endurance of either vessel at seven thousand horse-power was proved for about three thousand miles. Thus they can steam 1500 miles and return to the base.
