COMMERCIAL.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Aug. 28.

It is estimated that the world’s wheat harvest for the year ending July next will yield thirteen million quarters above requirements. The estimate is made on the assumption that Argentina, Australia, and India have failed to show goods yields. The quantity of flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,655,000 quarters, and the Continent 2,350,000 quarters. Bank shares are unchanged in price.

At the tallow sales 1100 casks were offered and 950 sold. Prices are unchanged.
