WRITING DOWN THE CAPITAL, By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Sopt. 1. As a result of the committee's recent report, recommending drastic reduction of the capital, tho shareholders in Allsopp and Sons’ brewery have decided to rcduco the capital of the company by ono million four hundred and thirty thousand, writing off 80 per cent, of the ordinary stock and 00 per cent, of preferred stock.
