A HOSTILE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Sept. 19. The Women’s Franchise Bill has been strongly opposed in the Legislative Council. A motion to adjourn the second reading of tiie debate was carried against tho Government by 22 to 20.
