The Mikado, in accepting an apology from the Emperor Kwangshu, re-echoed the latter's hope that closer relations would ensue between the two countries, adding that it was his earnest wish that the great work of reform which was dependent on Kwangshu would soon be in operation, and that the maintenance of permanent peace would thereby be secured. i Paris, Sept. 25. The Mysjtyteu incident has produced a sensation in France.
