The Council met at 11 a.m,
The Registration of Births Extension Bill passed all stages, and tho Council then adjourned.
AFTERNOON SITTING.
On the Council meeting this afternoon an adjournment for an hour was made, as a mark of respect to the memory of tho late lion. Bonar. The following Bills passed the final stages: The Mining Act Amendment, Public Health Amendment, Westland and Nelson Coalfields Administration. The Council agreed to a compromise with the Lotver House on the amendments in the Factories Bill. EVENING SITTING. The Council resumed at 7.30. Tho Timber Export Bill and Nelson Harbor Board Amendment Bill passed tho final stages.
