Unexpected Fortune.
Paris, Nov. 9,
. Ellen Beach Yaw has just inherited a fortuno from a wealthy French engineer who died at the age of 30. He had met the American singor but onco—four years ago, in Chicago. He never made any effort to approach her, though in his will he admits that he loved Miss Yaw intensely. His death was accidental, caused by an explosion in a chemical experiment. The rumor spread that he had committed suicide because he was too timid to declare his passion.
