HOLIDAY-MAKING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. To-day was again observed as a holiday, but in the afternoon several fairly heavy thunder showers fell. The Caledonian sports were largely attended, and the various water and railway excursions were well patronised. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. William Driver, a young man, attempted to commit suicide at Tiger Hill, Blacks, by cutting his throat. There are no details to hand.
