JEALOUS PREMIERS.
A FIT OF PIQUE.

Mr See, like some of tho othor State Premiers, is sore over being distinguished as a person in contradistinction to Mr Barton and Mr Soddon as Royal guests in the treatment at the Coronation. Mr See says unless the New South Wales representative can attend on equal conditions to the one for Now Zealand he is not disposed to go. The Herald, commenting on the subject, says if New South Wales is to be regarded as a province not worthy of the consideration extended to New Zealand, with half the population of our State, it is not unlikely that Stato politics here will be looked upon as of small account. Possibly when the invitations arrive they will be so worded as to remove the lease cause of offence. Brisbane, Jan. 20. The Premier expresses tho opinion' that if New Zealand is worthy of special recognition at the Coronation, the Australian States should be placed on the same footing, as each entertained the Prinee and Princess of Wales during their visit to the - colonies,
