NOTICE is- hereby given that this Council proposes to construct a certain public road, viz., a Dray Road thiough Mangapapa Block, Block XIII, Uawa Survey District, and for that purpose to take, under the provisipns of “ The Public Works Act, 1894,” the land described in the accompanying schedule. .'[he works are formation and drainage and culverts for the passage of surface water. Any person having any objection to the taking of this land is requested to state the objection in wr ting, and send the writing to the office of the County Council at Gisborne, on or L'fiore the 17th March, 1902_. It is further proposed to stop the surveyed road through the Mangapapa Block, Block XIII., Uawa Survey Distr ct, from a point being the intersection of a line 1101 chains north of A, and a line 1173 chains east of A, and extending to the southern bank of the Pakarae river, and to exchange the road stopped for the land taken for the new road between .the same points.
