Open to ten volunteers of any volunteer district, 600yds and 700yds, seven volleys at each range.—Wellington Eifies, £l2, 366 points ; Auckland district, £lO, 313 ; Wellington Rifles No. 2, £5, 295 ; Wanganui No. 2, £5, 286; North Canterbury No. 2, 269.

After this match the Field-firing Match commenced. It was watched with great interest, not only by visitors, who were plentiful, but by competitors. It resulted : Wellington Rifles, £ls and Ammunition Cup, 221 ; Auckland Infantry, £l2 10s, 219; North Canterbury, £lO, 135; Otago Infantry, £5, 184.

To-morrow’s shooting commences with the Teams Match, for which twenty-five have entered.
