BIG STRIKE.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, March 6. In the House of Commons, the secondreading of the Miners’ Eight Hours Bill was rejected by 208 to 207. The Radicals and Nationalists supported the bill. The Unionists and a few Northern Radicals opposed it.
The National Miners’ Congress have decided by 129 to 125 votes upon a general strike in favor of the eight hours system.
