ARMY ESTIMATES.

The Committee of Supply, by large majorities, passed the estimates providing 200,000 men for service, also for increased pay.
Mr Brodrick announced an additional gratuity to those who had completed their time and who elected to serve again, besides the £5 aTeady given, except for those engaged at higher rates of pay for a year, of os a month, after 18 months’ completed additional service, at the end of 1901, or subsequently.
