LICENSE CANCELLED.
(By Telegraph—Pres3 Association.) Wellington, last night. Tho Appeal Court unanimously allowed the appeal in the case of the Commonwealth Hotel, New Plymouth. The Court held that the pecuniary relations of the Magistrate with the parties did not support bias on his part, but the letter given that, on certain conditions, he would grant a license, was likely to create a real bias. The Court therefore quashed the .. license.
