THE PREMIER AS A SOCIAL REFORMER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night-. The Premier attended a meeting of jyorkers to-night, and was presented with an address. In tbe course of his speech he declared the employers of the colony were better off to-day than ever, and he believed the workers were better off here than anywhere in the Empire. He went on to say that conciliation and arbitration are so intimately associated that there could never be any separation. He knew that workers ill the Old Country required to be educated in some matters, but when he reached England he would be pleased to assist in lifting them to tho level of their New Zealand brethren.
