STOLEN PAINT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. At the Police Court to-day, on the application of the Crown Prosecutor, the charge against Thomas A. Bolton of receiving paint of the value of £5, knowing it to be stolen, was withdrawn, counsel stating that on the assumption that the senior accused, Samuel T. Bolton, was guilty, there was not evidence, after the fullest investigation, that the junior accused was anything else than an innocent agent. This case is one of those of stealing from the Union Company. Further hearing of the charges was adjourned.
