THOUSANDS RUINED.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, April 26. _ The Daily Mail states that the Balker Kredit Gestlescaft, of Switzerland, the leading financial institution, fias failed. The failure is attributed to speculatin'?, resulting in losses of a million amp a haTf sterling, on the Paris Bourse! Grob, the manager, and Hoefiin’ger, the ' cashier, have been arrested.
Thousauds have been ruined by the failure, chiefly in South Germany.
