WHATAUPOKO ROAD BOARD.
There did nob appear to be keen interest taken in the Whataupoko Road' Board election yesterday, but the result showed there was substantial polling. The results were : A. F. Matthews .... ... 78 W. J. Hamon ... ... 85 I). M, Orr .... 39 'Die first two were declared elected. The polling on the Whataupoko, where Mr W. Ratcliffe acted as Deputy-Re-turning Officer, was as follows A. F. Matthews 18, W. J. Hamon 17, D. M. Orr 6. These figures are included in the main totals..
