WAIHI GOLD MINE,

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. During the four weeks ending April 26 the Waihi .Goldmining Company treated 11,756 tons of ore for bullion valued at D 40,453. DR, POMARE. Dr. Pomare, Native Health Officer, who proceeded to Rotorua with the Hon. J. Carroll last week, remains in the Hot Lakes district for several days to advise the natives with regard to sanitation. Great improvement has already been effected in Ohinemutu and V. ..akarewarewa by Dr. Pomare. From Rotorua Dr. Pomare proceeds to Tauranga, and thence to Huntly to attend the native meeting there on May 20.
