LONDON, May 30, The Peace Conference at Pretoria concluded on Wednesday. Th'i delegates started for Vereeniging for the final ballot. Lord Milner has returned to Johannesburg. (Received May 31, 12.13 a.m.)

On receipt of Great Britain’s definite reply the Boer delegates went to .Yereeniging, apparently ready to recommend the acceptance of the terms. It is understood that banishment will not he enforced, excepting ’in the case of iricconcilables refusing to take .the. oath of allegiance. The Boers retain horses and arms for self-defence,

The Boers will lie allowed an influential representation upon Lord Milner’s Advisory Council prior to Die granting of representative government. Tiie Daily Mail states that Government has been informed that the irrcconcilables have accepted the preliminaries of peace. Only a few minor details remain unsettled.
