NAPIER HARBOR BOARD.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. Considerable interest was manifested to-day in the election of a candidate for the Harbor Board. The poll was a heavy one, and resulted in the return of Mr John McVay, who has occupied a seat on the Board for several years, and who defeated his opponent, Mr John Hindmarsh, junior, by 106 votes.
