BIG PRICES FOR STOCK. WETHERS SELL UP TO 41s. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, June 30. Twenty thousand sheep were offered at tho fat stock market to-day. There was splendid competition, and extreme rates prevailed, best wethers selling up to 41s, and ewes to 18s 6d. A small number of cross-bred wethers, on account of Mr G. H. Scales, of Wellington, were sold. Forty-three realised 29s 9d ; four fetched 26s 3d. Lambs were lower than last week. Best went to 14s ; good, 9s to 10s. Cattle were brisk of sale. Prime realised £ls; good, from £9. Butter and cheese « at 17d to 18d; prime factory, id less.
