(To the Editor of the Times). Eh', Now that the King is recover--ng—it would not have been decent to nave continued the subject under ‘the distressing circumstances—l ask for a word with .some of my Point friends: An attempt has been made to discreditthe genuine indignation of the people over the £IOO grab for the Point. Now, here s a challenge. Will the Pointers mention tiie name of a single person who lias favored the Point beyond those few who live or have their occupations near by ? Will they select a Councillor to resign, for us to pit a man against him, and thus show the feeling in the matter ?—I am, etc., WEST END.
