A DOCTORS PATIENT.
FATAL OPERATION ON A BLACK BEAR. By Telegrnph—Presß Association. Auckland, last night. Wirtb Bros. Circus has lost a performing black boar, for which thoy recently refused £2OO. The bear was suffering from partial blindness, caused by a growth over ono eye, and was put under chloroform by Dr Collins, who romovod tho malformation. Tho bear, however, did not survive.
