MELBA'S FAREWELL.
FASHIONABLE SEND-OFF. ' By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright London, Aug. ‘2. Yesterday, the Melba Company received an immense send-oil' at Euston station. Lord and Lady Ahereorn, Lord and Lady Hardwick, Lord and Lady lvilmorley, Lady Leo Sturt, Sir L. Molesworth. Mr Alfred Rothschild and wife, Baron and Lady Armstrong, Lady Kaye, and Mrs Arthur Paget were present. Gifts of fruit and ilowers were received from Sir Thomas Lipton, Baron Rothschild, and the Countess of Warwick. The King sent a farewell message through the Prince of Wales. Alfred Rothschild presented Melba with a necklet of diamonds and turquioses.
