POLICEMAN SHOOTS HIMSELF.

At the inquest held on the death of Constable Kidd, who was found dead in the police station at an early hour on Friday morning, the jury returned a verdict that deceased shot himself whilst in a state of temporary insanity, induced by insomnia.
