DEATH OF A PROMINENT AUCKLANDER,
By Telegraph—Press Association—(By Telephone from Napier.) AUCKLAND, last night. Mr 'J. L. Wilson, one of the senior proprietors of the New Zealand Herald, passed away this morning, aiter a short illness, though he had been m failing health for some time. Ilis brother, Mr W. S. Wilson, died on the twenty-eighth June. The deceased was for for many years President of the Young Men’s Christian Association
