NELSON ITEMS.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Nelson, last night. At the request of and in the presence of leading citizens and commercial men the Mayor made a presentation of a gold chain and sovereign case to Mr A. P. Dryden, who had been acting as Chief Postmaster, his efficient work being much appreciated. Much regret is felt locally in consequence of the somewhat serious illness of Mr F. Trask, formerly Mayor of Nelson,
