SELECTING CANDIDATES FOR AUCKLAND. By; Telegraph—Press Association— Auckland, last night. At a meeting of tho Workers’ Political Organisation it was announced that a plebiscite of the various unions favored by a large majority the running of two candidates for the Auckland City at the coming election. Each union will have the right to nominate two candidates, and the candidates to go to the poll will bo decided by the vote of members of the union. All candidates will be required to sign a pledge to retire in favor of the two receiving most votes, °
